Smartphone manufacturers nowadays are so focused on creating bigger and thinner devices and as a result, battery life is sometimes sacrificed. A Oukitel has thought differently and has recently released the K10000, which comes with a 10,000mAh battery.

The Oukitel K10000 comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display that is powered with a 1.0GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. Besides that, it comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card). The smartphone comes out of the box with Android version: 5.1 Lollipop.k10000 backWhen looking at the camera specs, the K10000 has an 8 megapixel rear camera along with a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. However, the software that comes with the K10000 has adjusted the cameras to be 13 and 5 megapixels for the rear and front cameras respectively . Aside from that, the smartphone also has a dual-sim support.

Surprisingly, the smartphone is built with a full steel frame and its only 9mm thick. It also weighs around 184 grams which is even lighter than the iPhone 6S Plus. Bare in mind that the iPhone 6S plus and the K10000 has the same display size. Oukitel proudly said that with a battery so powerful, the K10000 is able to charge an iPhone 6S plus three times and still have 10% of battery life left.

The Oukitel K10000 is available for pre-order through GearBest -worldwide online retailer – for a price of US$239.99 (about RM1023). The estimated time for delivery will be on the 2nd of January 2016. It’s worth noting that, the mentioned price does not include the cost for shipping which may vary from one address to another.
