The Force is really strong with Maxis as the company has announced that it will be giving out a total of 12 units of Sphero’s Star Wars BB-8 Droid. To win them, customers just need to be quick with their purchases in Maxis’ Online Store.
From the 7th to the 31st of December 2015, Maxis will be giving away three units of BB-8 Droid each week. To be eligible to win one of the units, customers just need to purchase any device bundled with any Maxis postpaid plan from the Maxis online store.
Each week’s contest period will be as follow:
- 6th to 12th December 2015
- 13th to 19th December 2015
- 20th to 26th December 2015
- 27th to 31st December 2015
Once the purchase is done, customers will then receive an email attached with the contest form. The fastest three participant to fill up and submit the contest form for that week will then win themselves a Sphero BB-8 Droid.
The Sphero BB-8 Droid is an app-enabled droid from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, which is coming to cinemas on the 17th of December 2015. The BB-8’s user can control its movement using their smartphones, provided they have downloaded the app (App Store and Play Store) and paired them. The BB-8 is also capable of moving on its own, adjusting its movements the more it interacts with its owner.
