The Sony Xperia Z5 will be launched at the end of the month, and Sony has opened the registration of interest for the public to attend the launch event. The invite appeared across Sony Mobile Malaysia’s social media channels as the brand looks to be reaching out to fans for the local launch.
This registration of interest is not for buying Sony’s newest flagship smartphone, but rather only to attend the launch; which is a little different from how other RoIs have worked. However, Sony Malaysia is promising luck draws for those who do attend the event; and are also advertising the chance to win an Xperia Z5.
Sony is conducting this RoI as a first come, first served basis, and interested parties can find the registration form here. Registration for the event closes on 19 October.
More importantly, the announcement reveals that the Sony Xperia Z5 will be launched in Malaysia on 29 October. The smaller Xperia Z5 Compact was spotted on the SIRIM database last week, and is also expected to be making an appearance at the launch event alongside the Xperia Z5 an Xperia Z5 Premium.
