Huawei Unveils Enjoy 5 with Huge 4,000mAh Battery for RM650

Huawei has announced a brand new device, the Enjoy 5. Featuring a generous 4,000mAh battery, Huawei claims the Enjoy 5 can last up to 10 days and 12 hours on standby, which is pretty impressive. However, its other specifications leave more to be desired, although we are talking about a 999 Chinese yuan (about RM650) device.

Powering the Enjoy 5 is a MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, which is a little odd. Usually, Huawei would go with its own HiSilicon Kirin processors for its devices, as it was the case with the Huawei P8, P8 Lite, and even the Honor lineup of devices. That being said, the Enjoy 5 seems to be marketed for the Chinese market, which somewhat explains the choice of processor.

Other specifications of the Enjoy 5 include a 5-inch 720p IPS display, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot which supports cards up to 128GB, 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras, as well as Emotion UI 3.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. LTE connectivity and dual-SIM support are also featured on the Enjoy 5.

The Huawei Enjoy 5 will be available in China on the 16th of October at a retail price of 999 yuan, which is about RM650. No word yet on when (or if) the device will be made available in Malaysia.
