U Mobile has just unveiled its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus plans. Just like the existing iPhone bundles, the telco will offer these latest iPhones with a postpaid and prepaid plan, and as expected, you can apply for MicroCredit with Flexi Instalments. U Mobile also has a trade-in offer to buy the new iPhones, offering rebates as much as RM1,900 for your old smartphone.
Just like before, U Mobile is offering the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus with an iPlan – i40, i60, i90 and i130. The postpaid plans are tied to a 24 months contract, but with Contract Freedom, you can terminate your contract anytime you wish with zero penalty fee. You will however, need to pay back the subsidy for the number of months left in your contract.
As for prepaid plans, if you terminate your plan with the telco, the upfront payment will not be refunded.
As a promotion, U Mobile is offering extra data for i60 plans and above, as well as unlimited calls for i90 plans and above. An upfront payment is required for all the plans except for postpaid customers who pay via credit card and subscribe to auto debit for monthly fee; upfront payment will be credited back to your bill equally over 24 months (i.2. RM10/month for 24 months for i40).
Just like before, for those who do not have a credit card to apply for Easy Payment Plan, you can opt for U MicroCredit instalment plan, now with flexi payment. U Mobile is also introducing an all-new Flexi U MicroCredit that lets you decide on the loan amount, and pay the remaining balance in cash or credit card. You can finance between RM1,000 to RM3,500, and choose to pay back from 12, 24, 30 and 36 months with cash or credit card; no deposit, no collateral, no credit card required.
