On top of the brand new Xiaomi Mi 4c, Xiaomi also introduced a new portable speaker called the Mi Bluetooth Speaker.
Featuring an aluminium body, the Mi Bluetooth Speaker is a very stylish looking speaker that is a size of a pencil box, so you can easily bring it with you wherever you go. As its name suggests, you can connect to the speaker via Bluetooth, but if you do not wish to use your phone, it also support microSD cards so you can your favourite music directly on the speaker. There is also a built-in microphone on board for handsfree support.
On the inside, the Mi Bluetooth Speaker packs passive bass radiator, double colour injection moulding, 36mm neodymium divers, and black anodised aluminium diaphragm; it allows for a large 90dB (A) @ 0.5m sound. There is also a large 1500mAh battery on board that allows for 8 hours of music playback.
Available in an array of attractive colours, the Mi Bluetooth Speaker retails at only 199 yuan – that’s about RM134.
