You don’t have to sign up for a two years contract just to purchase a new smartphone at a subsidised price. U Mobile is now offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 with its prepaid pack, allowing you to get the device at only RM1,946.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 retails at RM2,452 (before GST), but you can get it at only RM1,946 with a U Mobile prepaid SIM. The promotion is only available for a limited time, and you will need to top up a minimum of RM150 to be eligible for the offer.
The product page says that the Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with a free clear casing and a free Samsung power pack (while stocks lasts), but sadly, U Mobile did not state whether it is available for its prepaid bundle or not.
For those of you who would like more subsidy, U Mobile is giving additional discount of RM250 when you purchase the phone with its Ultimate Device postpaid plans tied to a 24 months contract. The telco is offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 with its Ultimate Device 65, Ultimate Device 95 and Ultimate Device 135 plans:
As with most of its postpaid device bundle, this bundle also comes with Contract Freedom, which means that should you terminate the contract before it expires, you won’t have to pay for subsidy. All you need to do is pay back the pro-rated subsidy for the number of months left on the contract.
