Maxis is now offering the cheapest variant of the Asus ZenFone 2 (ZE500CL), from as low as RM0 when you sign up for a contract with its postpaid plan.
The telco is offering the device with its MaxisONE plan lite, MaxisONE plan, as well as a MaxisONE plan with 1GB extra data, all tied to a 24 months contract.
The Asus ZenFone 2 is part of Maxis’ Riang Ria Raya promotion that offers selected LTE smartphones for free with no upfront payment and no GST. If you opt for the MaxisONE plan packages, you can get the device for completely free when you sign up for a contract.
The Asus ZenFone 2 offered by Maxis is the most affordable of the lot. Retailing at RM599 inclusive of GST, it features a 5” HD display and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
The Asus ZenFone 2 packs a 8MP rear camera at the back, 2MP front-facing camera, and comes with 2500mAh battery, LTE connectivity, dual-SIM support, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
