For those who have been wanting to purchase the Asus ZenFone 2 ever since it was launched last weekend, good news. Asus Malaysia has posted on its Facebook page that the ZenFone 2 will be available for purchase on the 16th of May at 12PM on its online store. Unfortunately, not all variants will be available.
That’s right. From what we have gathered, the top-of-the-line ZenFone 2 with 4GB of RAM will not be available for purchase on Asus’ online store this Saturday. Asus Malaysia confirmed this when an interested consumer was asking which variant of the highly anticipated smartphone will be sold during the 12PM sale.
Also, remember the ZenFone 2 accessories that we have written about? Asus Malaysia said that it is targeting a June 2015 release for them. Of course, as this is merely a target that the company has set, don’t be surprised if these do not come in by June. It is also unclear if all of the accessories will be brought in.

If you’re interested to grab an Asus ZenFone 2 for yourself (or for someone special), do note that Asus Malaysia is anticipating a lot of demand for it come this Saturday. On top of that, there is a good chance that there will be limited units up for grab as the company is saying that worldwide demand for its latest smartphone is high.
In any case, if you didn’t manage to secure the colour or variant of the Asus ZenFone 2 that you want this Saturday, you could give your local phone retailer a visit. Some consumers are saying that the ZenFone 2 is available at certain stores, so keep your eyes peeled.
