Dell Malaysia has shown us something unexpected: the Inspiron 23 7000 Series All-In-One computer. Equipped with the Intel RealSense 3D Camera, this is essentially the first product in Malaysia to be equipped with the technology.
In terms of specification, the Inspiron 23 7000 is powered by a fourth generation Intel Core i7-4710MQ processor that clocks up to 3.5GHz. Other than that, it also has 12GB of RAM and a 1TB 5400 RPM SATA hard drive with 32GB of SSD cache. Connectivity-wise, it has four USB ports, Bluetooth 4.0, card reader, and a 3.5mm jack.
Rounding out the hardware are a 23.8-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 LED-backlit IPS touch display, an AMD Radeon HD 8690A graphics card, and Windows 8.1 out of the box. Of course, the Inspiron 23 7000 is also fitted with Intel’s RealSense 3D Camera, which allows the AIO to rapidly determine the dimensions of whatever object it is pointed at, among other things.
The Dell Inspiron 23 7000 with RealSense 3D Camera is currently available in Malaysia at a retail price of RM5,599. While this isn’t exactly an affordable price tag, it is after all the first product in Malaysia with Intel’s new 3D camera technology. More information on the AIO can be found here.
