So Xiaomi took the curtains off a lot of products at its Mi Fan Festival in China, what about in Malaysia? Don’t worry, the Chinese company has not forgotten about us. The Xiaomi Mi Fan Festival 2015 site has gone live on Mi Malaysia’s website, allowing you to participate in contests to win things, and to get to look at what to expect at Xiaomi’s fifth birthday celebration event – get up to 90% on selected products!
The Mi Fan Festival 2015 will be held on 8 April 2015 from 10am to 10pm. During the period, you will be able to purchase products from Xiaomi and get up to 90% discount on selected products. There will be two special flash sales happening on that day whereby Malaysians can purchase special new Mi products to arrive in Malaysia.
On top of that, from now until 7 April, you can play the “Give Mi 5” game on Mi Malaysia’s website and stand a chance to win over SGD$200,000 worth of coupons. It’s just a very simple game that lets you compete against two other players. Each player can pick either to show their palm or the back of their hand, and the odd one out wins – remember the “lat tali lat” game we used to play? It’s just like that. If you win, you can either win coupons, accessories, avatars or nothing at all.
Don’t want to pay for a product? No problem, you can also stand a chance to win a Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G or Mi Pad during the Mi Fan Festival. During the Mi Fan Festival day, one order will be selected at random every 2 hours between 10am and 10pm. Xiaomi will give back full refund of the device price to the winner – the winner will be contacted by email and announced on Facebook on 8 April 2015.
But that’s not all. There will also be special discounts for Mi Fan Festival 2015 in Malaysia. Xiaomi is offering discounts on its Mi Power Bank 5000mAh (RM40 down to RM34), Mi In-Ear Headphones Crystal Pink (RM99 to RM79), Mi In-Ear Headphones Silver (RM50 to RM40) and Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic (RM25 to RM20).
