Most of us should know by now that the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge do not have a removable battery any more. A lot of consumers, especially power users, are clearly disappointed by this. If you’re one of them, then this 3,300mAh battery case from Mophie is definitely worth checking out.
Mophie’s Juice Pack case is specifically designed for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. According to the company, this case will not affect the functionality of both smartphones, which is a rather interesting claim seeing as how the S6 edge has a dual-curved display.
The battery case has a capacity of 3,300mAh that Mophie claims will be able to “offer users more than 100% extra battery life” for the Samsung flagship smartphones. It also features pass-through syncing over USB and quick charge capabilities, which should charge up the S6 and S6 edge’s battery in no time.
Interestingly, Mophie claims that this is the only battery case that will be available for the S6 and S6 edge at launch. Apparently, the company is part of Samsung’s SMAPP program, which allowed Mophie to design the battery case even before the official announcement of the S6 and S6 edge.
The Juice Pack case for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will set you back US$99.95, which is approximately RM360. The availability, or even a proper image of the product itself (other than the “teaser” above), have not been revealed yet.
