If you need a new prepaid SIM for your mobile phones, Hotlink has a new #Hotlink starter pack to offer that comes with 4G LTE internet, and 100MB of free data every time you purchase a weekly or monthly internet pass.
For RM10, the new #Hotlink starter pack has RM5 worth of airtime inside, and each time you purchase a weekly or monthly internet pass, you will be given 100MB worth of data for free. The catch? The free 100MB worth of data is only available for 7 days from the day you activate the starter pack. After that, you will no longer be given any free data. The free 100MB of data is only available for new #Hotlink users so for existing #Hotlink subscribers or for those who wish to migrate into #Hotlink, you will not get the free 100MB worth of data with each mobile internet pass purchase.
The Mobile Internet passes that are eligible for the free 100MB promotion are – Weekly 300MB (RM10), Monthly 1GB (RM30), Monthly 2GB (RM55), Monthly 3GB (RM68) and Monthly 350MB (RM20). There’s no limit to the number of free passes you can receive, but remember, you can only get the 100MB of free internet for 7 days from the day you activate the new #Hotlink starter pack.
Apart from that, the new #Hotlink is basically the same as existing #Holink with free basic internet at 64kbps. It’s a horrible speed, especially for those of us who’ve been spoilt by high speed internet, but it means that you’ll never be charged for pay-per-use internet, and one of us actually survived living on a 64kbps connection for an entire week.
Calls and SMS charges remains the same at 12sen/30sec calls, and 7sen/SMS for all local networks. Active10 rates are slightly lower at 6sen/30sec and 1sen/SMS.
