It was only hours ago that Xiaomi Malaysia has posted this particular teaser and now, the company has finally revealed what is it all about. True to our prediction, the company has unveiled Xiaomi’s 5000mAh power bank for Malaysian market.
First introduced at China in November 2014, the slim power bank is priced at RM 34 which is slightly higher than the pricing back at its home market. The imminent arrival of the new 5000mAh power bank also resulted in the discontinuation of the company’s previous 5200mAh power bank in Malaysia which was also priced at RM 34.
With a thickness of only 9.9mm, the new Xiaomi 5000mAh power bank has better conversion rate than the previous 52000mAh model with up to 93%. Although it is 1 gram heavier than the discontinued model, the 5000mAh power bank also features higher amperage output at 2.1A.
While we now know that the new power bank is priced at RM 34, no release date has been announced at the moment though. Nevertheless, the wait should end very soon.
