Blizzard appears to be very close to the final release of its first MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. A new Founders Pack bundle has appeared in the Battle.net shop, and is available for those who want in on the close beta test without having to wait for an invite.
The Heroes of the Storm Founders Pack includes access to the closed beta test, as well as some other extras that will carry over into the full release of the game. Buyers will gain an extra 2500 gold to spend on new heroes in the Nexus, which should get them something extra to play around with. The pack also unlocks three heroes: Diablo, Jim Raynor, and Tyrande; as well as an extra skin for each of them. Diablo appears to be cosplaying a Murloc for some reason.
Finally, the Founders Pack also includes a Cyber Wolf epic mount for in-game use. HotS features a unique mount system for quickly travelling around the map. While the mounts cannot be used for combat, they do make running from one battle to another a whole lot faster.
The Founders pack is currently sold for US$39.99, and only works in the Americas and Southeast Asia..
