Hotlink’s RM5 for 1GB of internet is back in the new “Red Hot Faaast Internet” promotion. Available from now until 31 January 2015, you can get 1GB worth of LTE internet from as low as RM5.
This time round, Hotlink is offering two options – 1GB LTE internet valid for one day for RM5, or 1GB of LTE internet valid for three days for RM11. If you desperately need to download a big file, or stream some music or movies for a day (or three), this sounds like a pretty good deal – if you’re located within the telco’s LTE range that is.
In order to enjoy LTE speeds, you’ll need an LTE-enabled SIM card. Just walk into a Maxis Centre near you and ask for a SIM swap. This promotion can only be purchased using the Hotlink RED app. You’re allowed to purchase as many passes as you wish, and the daily pass allows multiple stacking. The validity for RM5 deal will last for 24 hours while the more expensive one will last for 72 hours from when you sign up.
So, how do you subscribe? Just load the Hotlink Red app on your mobilephone, under the “Internet” tab, go to “Box of Surprise”. Pick the pass you want, confirm your purchase, and wait for a confirmation message and you’re ready to surf. As mentioned, this promotion is valid immediately and will end on 31 January 2015.
