Maxis Brings Back Samsung Galaxy S5 for its Trade-In Promotion, Offers Cheaper Price

Maxis Trade In Promotion with Galaxy S5

Maxis has just brought back the Samsung Galaxy S5 to its trade-in promotion, and is now offering the device with a much cheaper price. When the Galaxy S5 was first launched last year, it retailed at RM2,300. Months have passed, Samsung has since revised the retail price to RM1,699, and you can get it from as low as RM49 at Maxis’ trade-in offer.

Like the trade-in offer for the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and Sony Xperia Z3, you’ll need to sign up for a 24 months contract under MaxisONE plan or MaxisONE plan lite postpaid plan. The telco will offer a minimum trade-in value of RM200, but if you have a newer phone like the iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S3 and such, Maxis will offer a higher trade-in value.

Maxis Galaxy S5 Trade In Value

As usual, all the telco requires is a working device – no box or charger required. However, the device must be in working condition with no damage or missing components. Only available at Maxis stores, a simple validation will be performed and if the device qualifies, you can get the Galaxy S5 from as low as RM49.

If you do not wish to trade-in any devices, you can also sign up for a regular contract with the telco and get the Galaxy S5 at these prices:
