Barely a month after making its world debut, Oppo’s new smartphone – the R7 – is now on its way to Malaysia. According to the media invite that has just landed in our hands, the Malaysian launch event has been scheduled to take place on 7 July which are just around two weeks away.
Judging from the invite, we most probably will see R7 and R7 Plus at the launch although whispers within the rumors circle currently pointing out that R7 Lite which was recently announced at Indonesia will be making an appearance in Malaysia as well. As indicated by its name, the Lite variant is expected to be the most affordable model in the series.
Although very little information are known about the third variant in Oppo R7 series, the company has confirmed that it will still feature the same design language, metal unibody and the 2.5D curved screen. However, we do know how it looks like though, thanks to an advertisement published in a Bangladeshi newspaper earlier this week:
