U Mobile Now Offering Xiaomi Redmi 2, Comes With Free Internet and No Contract

For those who wish to get the Xiaomi Redmi 2 but haven’t already done so, U Mobile is now offering the device with the same retail price of RM449 however, it comes bundled with RM30 top up and free internet for the first 6 months.

On top of that, the telco is also offering a free 5000mAh powerbank for the first 100 customers. It is a prepaid bundle, so there’ll be no contract for this offer, but if you would like to enjoy the free internet offered, you’ll need to stay active for the first 6 months. During the promotional period, for every top up you make (minimum of RM30), the telco will offer 500MB of free internet.

The Xiaomi Remdi 2 is one of the latest mid-range smartphone from the Chinese company to reach our market. It features a 4.7” 720p display with a pixel density of 312ppi. Beneath that, it is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz. There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage on board that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Other specs include 2200mAh battery, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, LTE connectivity, and has dual-SIM support.
