Xiaomi might have recently set some world record by selling an insane amount of smartphones during its fifth anniversary Fan Festival and took time to celebrate it in a rather unique way but sure enough, the company is not sitting down quietly any time soon. Case in point: Xiaomi has officially revealed just hours ago that it will launch yet another new product very soon and this time around, it is a new Mi smartphone that is designed for the global market.
In case you wondering, this is indeed the first ever global phone from Xiaomi which is also the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Prior to this, Xiaomi’s smartphones were released in its native market of China first before they were made available in other markets.

Scheduled to take place on 24 April, the launch of the new Mi global phone will take place in New Delhi, India which will be attended by Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun as well as its President, Bin Lin, and Vice President of Xiaomi Global, Hugo Barra. Of course, the company didn’t revealed any details regarding the actual device just yet with the exception of a huge “i IS COMING” message written on Xiaomi India’s website.
We do feel it might be possible that the new phone is the rumoured Xiaomi E4 but that doesn’t fit the teaser message on Xiaomi India’s website. Guess we have to wait till the official announcement on 24 April then…
