If you’ve ever been kind of bummed because Maxis’ trade-in program does not allow you to buy an iPhone, don’t be because you can now get an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 6 Plus by trading in your old iPhone, Samsung, Sony or HTC smartphone.
Sadly though, Maxis’ trade-in offer to buy an iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus only accepts a limited number of devices namely an iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, Samsung (Galaxy S5, Note 3, Note 2, S4, S3), HTC (One M8, One M7) and Sony (Xperia Z2, Z1), and the trade-in value for these devices are significantly lower than the older trade in offer for Android devices. Additionally, the older trade-in offer by Maxis also accepts other devices, offering a minimum value of RM200, the same can’t be found here.
As always, in order to be eligible for this offer, you are required to sign up for a 24 months contract with the telco for either a MaxisONE plan + 1GB of internet (RM158/month), or an iValue plan (iValue 1 – RM100/month, iValue 2 – RM155/month and iValue 3 – RM250/month).
