Oppo Mirror 3

It looks like the Oppo R1C isn’t the only device the Chinese company launched yesterday. Oppo also launched the Mirror 3, a 64-bit Android smartphone that is targeted at the lower mid-range segment, in Vietnam.

The Mirror 3 features a pretty good 4.7” 720p IPS display with a pixel density of 312ppi. Below that is a 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage.

As for the camera, it features an 8MP Sony IMX179 sensor on the back camera, and has a 5MP shooter at the front that should also feature some selfie-oriented functions. Other specs include ColorOS 2.0.1 based on Android 4.4, 2000mAh battery that can be recharged with 2Amp charger, dual-SIM support and sadly, no LTE connectivity.

The device is announced in white, but according to the product pictures posted on Oppo Vietnam’s website, there are also black and grey options up for grabs. The Mirror 3 is retailed at 5,990,000 Vietnamese Dong – that’s about RM1,000, a little too pricy if you ask me.

Oppo is also expected to announce the U3 smartphone that is rumoured to feature mid-range hardware along with optical image stabilisation.
