HyppTV has a new updated app for its HyppTV Everywhere service, that allows users to watch streaming video on mobile devices. The new app no longer requires a Unifi or Streamyx subscription, and will include a seven day free trial for all those who download it for the first time.
The current HyppTV Everywhere service for Unifi and Streamyx subscribers still exists, and those using the service will still have to subscribe to a device plan to use it on their mobile devices. There are two plans, with Plan A allowing two devices and Plan B for five devices. Plan A is free for those who already subscribe to a HyppTV package.
This new service will cater to those who are not subscribing to Unifi or Streamyx, or just want to use it on their mobile devices without subscribing to a regular HyppTV package. This new HyppTV everywhere plan is tied to a single login ID, and cannot be shared across devices; although users are free to logout and sign into a different system.
There is currently only one package available, with three channels bundled for RM15/month; although users are also free to subscribe to channels ala carte. There are also eight free channels that automatically become available when one begins subscribing.
The website has a full listing of available channels. The new HyppTV Everywhere app is available on both Android and iOS.
