After it was revealed with much fanfare in Singapore two months ago, Oppo R5 has finally arrived at retail stores in Malaysia last weekend. Priced at RM 1598, users are able to grab the device for free though if lady luck on their side through the on-going Oppo ScavengeR5 Contest.
As per its name, the mechanics of the contest is rather straight forward: find the hidden Oppo R5 on Oppo Malaysia’s official webpage, specifically on Oppo N3‘s product page. Once it is found, click on the device and users will then be prompted to enter their name as well as e-mail address.
There is also an option to share the contest through Facebook and Twitter which will apparently increases one’s chances to win the device although the option is not compulsory for users to participate in the contest. In addition to Oppo R5, there are also a number of Oppo VOOC Powerbanks up for grab through the contest as well.
Since the Oppo ScavengeR5 Contest will conclude on 31 December, that means there are only few days left for users to try their luck and grab the prizes that it offers.
