It looks like U Mobile has achieved its vision to get 2,000,000 new subscribers before the end of the year, and as promised, the telco will be giving all its subscribers old and new free calls and internet for an entire day on 18 December 2014.
For the whole 24 hours on 18 December 2014 starting at 12:00am to 11:59pm, all calls and internet used on that day will be free of charge. No SMS or USSD code required, all active U Mobile subscribers (prepaid, postpaid and even broadband) will be able to enjoy their free calls and internet automatically. The catch? Well, the internet is free for you to use, but the free calls are only available for calls made on the same network (U Mobile to U Mobile numbers only).
Want to join in on the fun? You still can, just subscribe to U Mobile by 17 December 2014 or hop on over to 7-11 (or any other places that sells U Mobile prepaid starter packs) to get a U Mobile prepaid starter pack. All active U Mobile lines be it prepaid, postpaid or broadband, will be able to enjoy these free offers. If your U Mobile line is barred, just make a payment to unbar your line and you will enjoy the free internet and onnet calls on 18 December 2014.
