Hong Kong-based startup Witti have come up with just the right item to liven up your mobile notifications. Plus, it also acts as a pretty neat decoration to have around one’s room.
The product in question would be Notti, a “polygonal” Smart LED box of sorts that connects to your iOS or Android-based phone through bluetooth which is illuminated in different colours and styles upon receiving a mobile notification. Multiple colours and styles could be configured through the included companion app. Options such as the colour theme for the mood light mode can be tuned to the user’s liking.
Multiple colour themes can be set for specific notifications such as email, calls, messages, social networking; allowing for a number of colour combinations. Besides functioning as a visual indicator for notifications, Notti is also capable of functioning as a music visualiser of sorts. Take for example when you’re listening to a song on your bluetooth-connected phone, the rhythm will be illustrated on Notti.
In terms of battery life, Witti have claimed that the built-in battery will last for 5+ hours of continuous light and over a month if only used for receiving notifications.
