Overkill Software’s campaign to accumulate 1.5 million users on their Steam Community page appears to have succeeded. As a result of this, the developer is giving away Payday The Heist on Steam today. The offer will last until 10am Pacific time, which is about 2am tomorrow, giving Malaysians just under 10 hours to claim their copies of the game. This game is completely free with no strings attached, so why not?
Payday the Heist allows players to take on the role of hardened criminals, knocking over banks and taking hostages. It features four player co-op modes for committing crimes with friends; and skill trees for character progression, for becoming a better bank robber.
Along with this Payday 2 is also currently available on Steam’s free to play weekend, allowing players to sample the game for the next 48 hours. Of course, Payday 2 is also selling at a 75-percent discount for the same period; which means that it now costs RM14.00.
