Samsung Shows Off its Own Lab Drop Test for the Galaxy Note 4, But Will it Bend?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Official Drop Test

Now that Samsung has shown to the world that its Galaxy Note 4 is pretty strong and can withstand the company’s very own lab three-point bend test and 100kg of human weight sit test, the Korean company wants to show you that the display used is very strong too. Samsung has just released a drop test video for its latest phablet, dropping the phone randomly from various heights and even tumbled around inside a box. Will the phone survive?

I’ll go ahead and spoil it for you this time round, yes it survives. Watch as the phone gets dropped onto rough granite surface from various angles and various heights, and see how it comes out unscathed. The video goes on to dropping the phone onto hard smooth metal floor, and then tumbled around inside box to stimulate the phone tumbling down the stairs. As before, the phone comes out perfectly fine though, I really wish they would perform several drop tests onto rough tarmac – after dropping my phones countless times, tarmac surface is the worst surface your phone could drop on.

That looks impressive, but the real question still remains – will it bend? The same guy who sparked controversy with his iPhone 6 Plus bend test videos, Unbox Therapy, recently released a new bend test video for the Galaxy Note 4 so, will it bend? The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is one of the toughest device out there as shown by Consumer Reports and Unbox Therapy, but what about the Galaxy Note 4 that has a new metal frame?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is scheduled to hit the Malaysian market on 15 October 2014, will all these official and personal stress test videos affect your decision to get a phone?
