The Sony Xperia C3 is now available in Malaysia for a retail price of RM999 but if you do not wish to pay full price for this selfie smartphone from Sony, you can get it from as low as RM366 from U Mobile. If you qualify, U Mobile will even waive the upfront payment so you’ll only need to pay RM366 and you can walk away with the device.
Sign up for a 24 months contract under one of the telco’s postpaid plans – U58 or U 88, and U Mobile will offer the Sony Xperia C3 from as low as RM366. Both postpaid plans comes bundled with data, free calls and SMS.
The Sony Xperia C3 may be look like a regular mid-range Android device with a large 5.5” 720p Triluminos display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 305 GPU, but what makes it stand out from the crowd is its front camera that Sony calls the “world’s best selfie smartphone”. It features a 5MP wide-angle camera at the front that is accompanied by a LED flash.
So how is the front camera special? Unlike other Xperia smartphones, the Xperia C3’s 5MP camera comes with several features usually found on the rear camera like Superior Auto and HDR mode. On top of that, there are also other features such as Portrait Retouch v2, Timeshift-Burst and even AR effects.
Other features include 8MP rear camera, LTE connectivity, microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB cards, 2500mAh battery, measures at 7.6mm thick and will run on Android 4.4 out of the box.
