Calling all Maxis subscribers, introduce your friend into Maxis and both of you will be entitled to some freebies from the telco. Get your friends to join maxis and while they get free internet, you will get free phone vouchers in return whereby you can use to buy a brand new device with or without a contract.
Valid immediately until 15 December 2014, your friends will need to sign up to the new MaxisONE postpaid plan in order to be eligible for the offer. Once you’ve convinced your non-Maxis friends to switch to Maxis, have them walk into a Maxis outlet nationwide to sign up to MaxisONE plan. Make sure he/she use your mobile number during the sign up process. Once successful, he will be rewarded with free 1GB of mobile internet for 3 months, and you will get RM100 phone voucher. A maximum of RM500 phone voucher per customer/NRIC applies.
As for you, once you’ve gotten your vouchers (up to RM500 only, unfortunately), you will be able to use them to purchase a phone with our without a rate plan. Maxis will issue an e-voucher via SMS within 14 days and after that, you will receive a call from Maxis within 10 working days. You may pick a phone with or without a rate plan, and pay the difference after deduction of your eligible phone rebate. Sit back, relax, and wait for Maxis to courier your shiny new gadget to you.
There’s a catch though, of course there is one. The people you refer must stay active at least until 31 December 2014 in order for you to get your voucher. The vouchers will expire on 15 March 2015 so if you’re hoping to get yourself an iPhone 6 with the rebate, start calling all your non-Maxis friends now.
