A leaked front panel bearing the Microsoft name have appeared on the internet. We could be inclined to believe that this is the real deal after news of the Nokia brand being dropped appeared yesterday. First published by French website NowhereElse, the images appear to show a large glass panel that may slightly resemble the one found on the Lumia line of smartphones.
It should be noted that the french site is still unwilling to confirm that this is indeed the future of the Microsoft made smartphones as they indicate that they have had the images for some time now and have been trying to decide what to do with it. The only reason these pictures have been made public is because of the previous news of the new branding. However, there is still the possibility that the pictures were taken from a prototype or internal testing.
Seeing the Microsoft name on a smartphone front panel is still a little odd, although it really shouldn’t be a surprise if this is the real thing.
