Not a fan of all the flagship smartphones we’ve been seeing lately? Well, here’s one from Sony Mobile that can satisfy all your selfie needs – the Sony Xperia C3. Announced about 2 months ago, the mid-range Xperia C3 is finally available here in Malaysia for RM999.
Touted as the “world’s best selfie smartphone”, or a PROselfie smartphone according to Sony, it features a 5MP wide-angle front camera with LED flash. That’s not all, what makes the Xperia stand out is its “soft” LED flash light at the front and a collection of selfie apps.

On top of that, the 5MP camera has also been given a Superior Auto mode, which recognizes four scene types on the front shooter, and adjusts the settings automatically for better shots in any lighting conditions. Other front camera features include Portrait Retouch v2 that adjusts your selfies in real-time before capturing an image, while other apps for he main camera like Timeshift-Burst and AR Effects are also available on the front camera.
Specs wise, the Xperia C3 does feature some pretty neat specs under its large 5.5” 720p TRILUMINOS display for mobile and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core snapdragon processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. The Xperia C3 is an LTE-enabled smartphone so yes, you can get 4G speeds so you can share your selfies instantly.
Other specs include 2500mAh battery with STAMINA Mode 3.0, Android 4.4 out of the box, and it weighs 150 grams and measures at 7.6mm thick. The Xperia C3 is now available in Malaysia in black, white and mint, with a retail price of RM999.
