Good news for U Mobile subscribers in the East Cost and East Malaysia, U Mobile is now offering extra 100% of data for its UMI 18 prepaid users when they activate their plan today. The move is part of the telco’s aggressive measures to expand its market presence, especially in the region.
If you reside in Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang, all you need to do is sign up for a UMI plan on your prepaid line and instead of just getting 250MB of high speed internet, U Mobile will give you 500MB – that’s RM18 for 500MB of data coupled with 25 minutes of free calls and 25 SMS. The promotion is available immediately and will run till 28 February 2015.
