Apple is rumored to announce its next generation iPhones in about a month but if you do not wish to wait, you can get an iPhone 5s from DiGi from as low as RM159, no advance payment required. This means that you only pay for the subsidized price when you sign up for the offer.
Available for iDiGi 148 and iDiGi 238 plans only, the advance payment waiver is only available for DiGi subscribers who are still active and have been with the telco for 12 months and above. As with the usual iPhone plans, you will need to sign up for a 24 months contract under one of those plans.
Unfortunately, it looks like DiGi is only offering the 16GB iPhone 5s (retail price RM2,399) in Gold or Space Grey so if you need a larger storage or the white version, I guess all you can do is wait.
