U Mobile has just added a new device to its postpaid plan bundles and this time, it’s the latest tablet from Samsung – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Retailing at RM1,699, the telco is offering the tablet with its Unlimited postpaid plans from as low as RM1,269.
Unlike the usual smartphone plans, U Mobile is offering the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 with only a 12 months contract. You can purchase it with an Unlimited 50 or an Unlimited 80 postpaid plan to enjoy the subsidized price with no upfront payment, if you meet the terms and conditions of course. This is a “Limited Time Merdeka Promotion” and in order to be eligible for the offer, there’s a catch – those who sign up must also sign up for a second SIM card for RM10 a month:
The criteria to sign up for this tablet bundle promo is each customer must sign up for one account which consist of at least 1 principal + 1 member. If the customer has more than one member in its Unlimited Plans account, only 1 member is allowed for the device bundling. The promotion is valid immediately until 30 September 2014.
On top of that, U Mobile will also offer a free exclusive tablet cover when you sign up for the bundle, redeemable after 24 August 2014. As with most U Mobile device bundles, this bundle will come with free 3 months subscription of U Care Plus 8 worth RM24 if you sign up for a U80 plan.
