Pebble has introduced three new colours to the Pebble smartwatch which will be available only as limited edition to the public. This limited edition wearable will be their latest addition to the classic Pebble series.
The new colours Fly Blue, Fresh Green and Hot Pink originated from the “#ColorMyPebble” campaign and were part of their early launch. These colours will be made available alongside the current Jet Black, Gray, Arctic White, Orange and Cherry Red colourways.
Pebble’s limited edition lineup not only adds colour to the face of the smartwatch itself, but also follows through to the straps – which are also interchangeable. Along with the launch of the Pebble Limited Edition, Pebble also introduced a new weather app from The Weather Channel as well as additional watchfaces on the Pebble App Store.
The Pebble smartwatch was first introduced in 2012 via Kickstarter and was successfully funded by 68,000 backers with a total pledge of USD 10 million – over 100 times its original USD 100,000 goal. The smartwatch features an e-ink display and connects via Bluetooth Low Energy to smartphones and has a five- to seven-day battery life with interchangeable watch faces.
The Pebble Limited Edition shares the same retail price as the standard Pebble smartwatch, and is available now on the Pebble website for USD 150 (about RM RM 479).
