Hari Raya is around the corner and while you’re driving around preparing for the celebration, or going back to your hometown this long weekend, Maxis has got a fun little game for you using Waze. If you’re a Maxis subscriber, just turn on Waze on your mobile phone while you’re out and about and find special Maxis pins nationwide. The top 10 users to submit the most unique codes each day gets to win amazing prizes like a Samsung Galaxy S5 or RM200 Petronas petrol vouchers.
The contest will start on 25 July 2014 and will run till 3 August 2014. Just download and turn on Waze while you’re driving. When you’re within a 5km radius from a Maxis pin, you’ll be given an alert. Tap on “Save for later” to save the message to your Waze inbox. When you’ve finally reached your destination, open the saved message(s) on Waze, and submit the codes to a Maxis link as stated in the message.
10 winners with the highest unique codes submitted for the day will be chosen daily. Maxis will contact winners on their mobile number after the contest period. The contest is open to all Maxis and Hotlink numbers so if you wish to take up the challenge, Hotlink prepaid packs are pretty easily accessible.
