You know how Xiaomi is known for making great devices with a very, very affordable price tag? Well, the company just announced a brand new activity tracker called the Mi Band, wanna guess the price? 79 Yuan, that’s less than RM50!
The Mi Band is a fitness tracking wristband that monitors your fitness and tracks your sleep. Using the industry’s most efficient Bluetooth chip and accelerometer, the Mi Band can run for up to 30 days in one single charge. Just for comparison’s sake, the Sony Smartband lasts approximately 4 to 5 days only, so 30 days is certainly very impressive if you ask me.
The Mi Band also doubles up as an alarm clock and can even be paired to your device to unlock it without a password, in a proximity-based manner that is similar to Android Wear and Android L devices. The best part? It’s priced at a mere 79 Yuan; that’s approximately RM49, says Xiaomi Malaysia. Impressed? We certainly are.
