Get the Samsung Galaxy S5 From As Low As RM199 With Maxis’ Trade-In Program

Maxis Galaxy S5 Trade In Program

Good news for those of you who are interested in getting a Samsung Galaxy S5, Maxis has just opened up its trade-in program, allowing subscribers to get as much as RM1,000 discount when they purchase the Galaxy S5 under a contract. Similar to the iPhone 5s trade-in program, the telco accepts any phones as long as they are still in working condition with no cracks on the screen or casing.

The telco is offering the Samsung Galaxy S5 in all three colors and follows the reduced retail price of the device at RM2,149 (previously RM2,399). You can trade in any phones but if you have one of the listed ones, you may be eligible for discounts of up to RM1,000. The devices accepted includes:

  • iPhone 5 – RM1,000 trade-in value
  • iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z1, HTC One M7 – RM750 trade-in value
  • iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S3 – RM500 trade-in value
  • Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy Note – RM400 trade-in value
  • Any other phones – RM200 trade-in value

On top of that, remember that Raya for Gaya promotion that offered the device with an extra discount of RM300? It applies to this offer too so it means that you can own a Samsung Galaxy S5 from as low as RM199 after discounts.

This offer is only available with a 24 months contract under one of the telco’s MaxisONE postpaid plans – MaxisONE Plan at RM128/month or MaxisONE Plan Lite at RM78/month. To enjoy the offer, you must visit a Maxis Outlet or Maxis Exclusive Partner nationwide.
