Starbucks Malaysia has released an official app for Android and iOS devices, featuring a virtual Starbucks Card that links to your physical one, allowing you to easily and quickly make purchases, top up and also enjoy the My Starbucks Rewards program.
With the new Starbucks Malaysia app, Starbucks junkies can now use their smartphones to pay for their daily drink and power up their day. The app lets you link your physical Starbucks Card by keying in the card number, and therefore letting you continue to earn rewards via the My Starbucks Rewards program. Naturally, the app also gives you easy access to check your Starbucks Card balance and the top-up option opens the browser and redirects you to the Starbucks Malaysia website, where you can top-up your balance online. Note that the minimum top-up amount is RM30.
If you don’t have a Starbucks Card, you can still download the app and get a virtual Starbucks Card. From there you can make payments just by this virtual card, and also keep track on the Starbucks Card Rewards and see how close you are to your next free beverage or food item. Speaking of which, the company is also running a “Buy 1 Free 1 Dark Caramel drink” promotion from now until July 13 for app users.
Finally, the app also features a store locator, and a useful “Latest Promotions” page with special offers for app users. The app is now ready to download on both iOS and Android.
