Samsung announced quite a few additional accessories for the Galaxy Tab S at the global launch in New York. It has now revealed that all of those accessories will be making their way to Malaysia, the first of which will be arriving next month. We covered the news of the Samsung Level series of premium audio peripherals last week; and information about the Galaxy Tab S Book Cover, Soft Cover, and Bluetooth keyboard has just arrived with the official Malaysian launch of the Galaxy Tab S yesterday.
The Galaxy Tab S Book Cover the typical multi-use cover that is capable of holding your Galaxy Tab S at three different viewing angles, depending on what you need at that moment. It uses a click-and-lock method developed by Samsung that is being referred to as the “Simple Clicker”. The Book Cover will be available from 11 July at a price of RM229 for the 10.1-inch version or RM199 for the 8.4-inch version. It will be available in six different colours: White, Bronze, Red, Blue, Black, and Ivory.
Alternatively, Galaxy Tab S users can opt for the less fancy Simple Cover. As the name suggests, this cover only serves to protect the Tab S from the usual scratches and dings. It also uses the Simple Clicker system to attach itself to Galaxy Tab S and will come in White, Bronze, Red, Blue, and Black. The 10.5-inch sized Simple Cover will be priced at RM139, while the 8.4-inch version will retail for RM109. Both will be available at the same time as the Book Cover.
The more productivity-minded individuals could also look into the Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard; this one specifically designed for the Galaxy Tab S. It is constructed from the same materials as the tablet to provide a more uniform tactile feel when using them together and is designed to match the layout of a regular notebook keyboard as much as possible. The Bluetooth Keyboard provides shortcut keys for Galaxy Tab S functions like multi-window, S Finder, and screenshots.
Available in either Titanium Bronze or Dazzling White, the Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will retail for RM459 in August 2014. The 8.4-inch version should be appearing at the same time, although there is no word on how much it will cost.
