We’ve seen mobile payment solutions tied to your smartphone around the world for a while now with Square being one of the more popular in the US. U Mobile have brought a solution of their own, hoping to make mobile payments a lot easier for small business owners. Introducing QuickPay by U Mobile, a dongle that fits into the headphone jack of your iOS or Android device and allows you to accept mobile payments from credit or debit cards just about anywhere.
How it works
If you’re a registered business owner and pass credit checks by both U Mobile and the acquiring bank, you are eligible to sign up for the U Mobile QuickPay service. It costs RM250 with any U Mobile plan and will have no other recurring costs after that (with the exception of a 2.2% MDR fee).
