An updated version of the Asus PadFone Infinity has been revealed at Computex 2014. This new version, known as the PadFone S, includes a 5-inch smartphone and the 8.9-inch tablet to dock it into. Inside, users will find a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, and a 2,300mAh battery. The tablet brings it’s own 4,990mAh battery, and can be expected to charge the phone between uses.
There is not information about pricing yet, although the Asus PadFone S is expected to arrive as early as Q3 of this year.
Also available are new and LTE enabled ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 4. The ZenFone 5 now sports a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400, while the LTE ZenFone 4 has a newer Intel processor. Both will be available in selected markets by Q4 of this year.
