We first saw this beautiful TV and the sibling the U8500 in Bali when we attended the Samsung Forum a month or two ago and today Samsung Malaysia finally introduced it to our shores. Coming in at a resolution of 3820 x 2160, thats nearly 4 times full HD. The whole big deal of the curved display is to give it a much more immersive feel while viewing. That combination of an immersive viewing experience and incredible UHD resolution makes for one of the best potential home viewing setups.
Samsung have also said that the new U9000 was made for Malaysia, bringing “soccer mode” to Malaysian football fans just in time for the World Cup. On top of that, the U9000 also features Family TV mode that lets family members capture the screen and record audio right from the TV.
The U9000 will also feature all the Smart TV features that we have come to know and love from Samsung’s other TVs and along with its accessories like the wireless audio or the soundbar, it certainly is an amazing addition to your living room.
