Blizzard has announced details about their upcoming game, Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished. Unlike previous games, Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished will be a traditional fighting game. However, Blizzard is quick to point out in the FAQ that they have experience in making these kinds of games.
Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished takes the opposite line from that found in Heroes of the Storm. Instead of the greatest characters in the Blizzard multiverse, players will be choosing from some of the lesser known characters and supporting cast. All the fan forgotten characters are included here, like Liddy Raynor (Jim Raynor’s deceased wife), Mira Eamon (Haedrig Eamon’s deceased and reanimated wife), and Wirt (an entrepreneur from the Diablo games).
The company has also apparently taken note of the microtransaction economy that fuels free-to-play titles today by also introducing a new controller that makes swiping a credit card extremely easy.
*Note: We understand that this is an April Fool’s Joke; however it is another joke from Blizzard that we wish actually existed.
