Huawei Honor 4X

Huawei recently took the curtains off a brand new mid-range Android smartphone, Huawei Honor 4X, that is powered by a 64-bit chipset from Qualcomm and of course, has a budget-friendly price tag.

The Huawei Honor 4X retails in China for RMB1,299, that’s about RM700, not too bad for what the device has got to offer. First up, it has a large 5.5” HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720. Beneath that is a quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2Ghz, and is paired with an Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot.

Other specs include 13MP F2.0 rear camera that is said to be made by Sony, 5MP front camera, a generous 3000mAh battery, LTE connectivity, Dual-SIM, and runs on Android 4.4 out of the box.

The preorder for the Huawei Honor 4X is already up and devices are expected to be shipped on 6 November 2014. Unfortunately if you were hoping to get one for yourself, the Chinese company is only selling it in their home market, with no indications as to whether it will be launched elsewhere.
