iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

Apple may have sold over 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus so far, but the company is not going to let the momentum stop. Together with the recording breaking sales announcement earlier today, Apple also announced that they will be expanding the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus availability to over 20 more countries this Friday, 26 September 2014, just one week after the sales that started last Friday.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus went on sales on 19 September 2014 to a handful of countries. Today, the Cupertino company announced that they will be heading to over 20 more countries this Friday including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey and United Arab Emirates. Apple aims to launch the new iPhones in a total of 115 countries by the end of the year, let’s keep our fingers crossed that Malaysia is in the list.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sales have been making headlines all over the world. People in many countries are willing to pay big bucks just to be one of the first to use the new larger iPhones, including Malaysians. There are plenty of scalpers out there and some of us are even willing to pay a whopping RM7,800 just to get the 64GB iPhone 6 (we estimate that the launch price in Malaysia will be about RM2,749; that’s almost three times the price!).

While we’re patiently waiting for Apple to officially make their way here, check out our price comparison post to see how much the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cost around the world so you can prepare your wallet for it. Let’s hope this teaser from Maxis is indeed for the new iPhones, and hopefully they’ll have a great bundle to offer.
