At the global unveiling in New York City today, Samsung debuted the latest addition to their tablet family the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5. With the tagline “Turn Up The Colour”, the Galaxy Tab S features Samsung’s most advanced display technology in the form of the WQXGA (2560 x 1600 16:10) resolution Super AMOLED display and offers 90% Adobe RGB colour coverage as well as a 100,000 to 1 contrast ratio. *More Photos Coming Up In Our Hands On* 
Both the 8.4inch and 10.5inch variants come in WiFi only or WiFi + LTE variants and are powered by an Exynos 5 Octa (1.9 GHz QuadCore ＋ 1.3 GHz Quadcore) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz Quadcore depending on the region of the device. Powered by 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage (Expandable to 128GB) and sporting an 8MP camera, the biggest difference between both devices besides the screen size is the 4,900mAh battery in the 8.4incher and a whopping 7,900mAh in the 10.5incher. Both devices are incredibly sleek at 6.6mm and weigh in at 465g for the 10.5inch and 294g for the 8.4inch. 
The Galaxy Tab S borrows from Samsung’s existing featureset, including the Ultra Power Saving Mode from the Galaxy S5, the fingerprint scanner enables a “multi user mode” that enables users to create their own personal optimized profile and a kids mode that brings a new kid-friendly interface in times where its needed. The Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 will come in both Dazzling White and Titanium Bronze and will be available in July 2014.
