Oppo’s been teasing its upcoming flagship smartphone for a while now, but in its latest round of teasers it appears the Chinese company is ready to officially unveil the Find 7, as well as providing more information about the Find 7’s hardware.

An image uploaded to Oppo’s official Weibo account contains a series of number combinations, which when cracked reveals the official launch date and location of the Find 7: March 19 in Beijing’s art district. The numbers were cracked by Oppo Insider, who also deduced that the launch will be held at 7pm from the number 7 in the image – though it could also be an indicator for the name of the device.

Oppo’s also been busy on its official Facebook page. The latest image posted late last night shed more light on the Find 7’s hardware. We already know that the Find 7 would be sporting a super-sharp 2560 x 1440 display, but now Oppo has revealed that the Find 7 would feature a 5.5-inch screen, resulting in a display with an insane pixel density of 538ppi – though Samsung’s Galaxy S5 may have an even sharper display with a 5.25-inch 2560 x 1440 display. It is also rumoured that the Find 7 would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

In addition, the Find 7 is also confirmed to support LTE connectivity (a feature not found in its swivelling camera smartphone, the N1 that’s coming to Malaysia next week) but there’s also another intriguing feature teased by Oppo: “Touch on Lens”. So far, nothing is known of this feature, nor has there been any rumours of what it may be. Also unique is the fact that there is no leaked images or even renders of the device appearing anywhere online. Given its rather colourful history with its smartphones, such as the N1’s swivelling camera and O Touch rear touch panel, we might just be seeing something entirely new on the Find 7 come March 19.
