First shown at CES 2013 earlier this year, the humongous Huawei Ascend Mate is set to be released in Malaysia very soon. Its imminent arrival into our shores is not actually a secret though as Huawei Malaysia has publicly mentioned the details of the launch event at their Facebook page which has been scheduled to take place on 30 May.
Equipped with a 6.1-inch 1280×720 IPS+ display, the Huawei Ascend Mate is powered by the company’s own K3V2 chipset that features a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU and paired together with 2GB RAM. It also comes with up to 32GB internal memory, 8-megapixels rear camera and 1-megapixels front-facing camera. Not to forget, it is also features a huge 4050mAh battery.
Obviously, Ascend Mate’s Malaysian pricing has yet to be revealed by Huawei at the time being. So, stay tuned for that and other important details about the device as you can definitely count on us to attend the scheduled launch event next week.
